Organic Creatures Going To The Beach is a whimsical abstract painting by Leon Sarantos that is now on exhibit in the main gallery at Paul Henry’s Art Gallery in downtown Hammond, Indiana.  The painting uses soft colors in pastels of green orange, yellow, and pink with strong, vertical,brown lines. To the artist, it suggests to a strange family of beings on an outing.  This painting was displayed in a group show at Cornerstone Art Center & Gallery, Whiting, Indiana, May, 2011. (Jurors: artists Robert Stanley and Jim Panos).Paul Henry’s Art Gallery in Downtown Hammond, Indiana is within a half hour drive of all of Lake and Porter Counties in Northwest Indiana as well as Chicago’s Loop, Hinsdale, Orland Park and Chicago Heights, Illinois.    Located at 416 Sibley Street in Hammond, the gallery is open Tues-Sat: 10AM – 7 PM;  Sunday Noon – 5 PM.
