Ordinary Things Exhibit At Studio 659

In this exhibit, the art reminds us that what is ordinary in one life might not be ordinary in another.  Some artists have re-imagined “ordinary” in extraordinary ways.  Many Midwest regional artists will be in attendance at our reception, which is this Friday evening, June 7, from 7 to 9 PM.  The exhibit is curated by Dawn Diamantopoulos, a graduate of Pratt Institute.

Mexican RoadTrip, in Road Trip Exhibit

Mexican Roadtrip

I have often combined my love of travel with painting, but few places are as beautiful and hospitable as Barra de Navidad, a coastal village on the western shore of Mexico where the small local population mingles with tourists and artists.  While visiting Barra the vibrant tropical colors inspired my non-objective painting, Mexican RoadtTrip.
